Demo Review:
Kevin White of Harder Beat Magazine reviewed the demo in the June 1999 edition. Here's the review:

Rich Townsend-vocals, Chris Chumpitazi-guitar, Eddie McDonnell-bass, Steven Naylor-drums, are the active ingredients in ShadowMinds wicked brew of traditional metal rhythms, progressive riffs and 90's vocals.

ShadowMind opened strongly with the aggressive Maiden-esque romp of "Chains, Straps & Scraps". The highlight track, "Emotional Walls", best exemplifies this groups versatility, combining the musicianship of Rush with the brashness of Tool. Though only four songs were included, this demo provides a clear picture of what ShadowMind is all about.
